Stephan Stubner (GER)
Dr. Stephan Stubner is Assistant Professor for Strategy & Entrepreneurship at AACSB-accredited HHL – Leipzig Graduate School of Management. Being consistently ranked as one of the best business schools in Germany, the university sees entrepreneurship education as one of its cornerstones and many successful start-ups in Germany have been founded by HHL graduates. The list of HHL startups includes e.g. Amplitude Capital, Betreut.de, Coffee Circle, imedo, MisterSpex, MySportGroup, Playnik, Plinga, Point Nine Capital, Spreadshirt, SunCoal Industries, Team Europe Ventures - and HHL founders have been awarded with a variety of prices, as the “Wirtschaftswoche Founder of the Year”, “Red Herring European Top 100”, “KfW Founder Champion” etc.
Before joining HHL in 2007, Stephan co-founded two own companies (trivago.com and ciao.com) and worked for The Boston Consulting Group. Besides his role in entrepreneurship education, he actively supports founder teams through coaching and networking and provides early-stage funding through his VC-firm Monkfish Equity.
