Markus Breitenecker (AUT)

Markus is the CEO of SevenOneMedia Austria, a company of the media group ProSiebenSat1 AG. SevenOneMedia is active in the european startup scene, running an investment programme.

Being a law graduate of the University of Vienna, he looks back on more than 15 years of extensive experience in the media sector in Germany and Austria. Before starting SevenOneMedia Austria, Markus was Head of Sales and Media Policy at kabel eins Deutschland. As CEO of SevenOneMedia Austria he is a key player in the Austrian TV sector and has successfully started PULS 4, one of the biggest Austrian private TV broadcasters.
