Rainer Hauser (AUT)

Rainer Hauser was appointed to the member of the Management Board of Bank Austria in June 2009. He is responsible for Bank Austria’s largest division named Family & Small and Medium Enterprises. The former Kienbaum and McKinsey consultant started his career with an apprenticeship at Sparkasse Radolfzell. He graduated in business administration at Saarbrücken University and finished his doctoral study at University of St. Gallen.

Rainer Hauser joined UniCredit Group in 2000 and was in charge of different management positions in Germany and Austria before he became member of Bank Austria’s Management Board. He has profound experience in start-up and small & medium enterprise’s financing which is one of Bank Austria’s core competences.
