Frederic Court (GBR)

General Partner with Advent Venture Partners in London, a leading growth equity investor. He focuses on Internet services (consumer and business, fixed and mobile), digital media, mobility, e-commerce, technology-enabled services (including SAAS enterprise solutions).

Frederic currently sits on the boards of Zong (mobile payments, US), Vitrue (Social Media management SaaS solutions, US), Qype (local search, DE), Ever Team (enterprise software, FR), Ubiquisys (software for 3G femtocells, UK), Echovox (mobile media, CH), and Farfetch.com an e-commerce business (fashion marketplace with presence in Europe, Us , Brazil).

Frederic is closely involved with other Advent investments such as Fizzback (Customer Feedback SaaS solutions), Dailymotion (video portal), Cartesis (sold to Business Objects), Snell & Wilcox (merged with Probel).

Prior to Advent, Frederic was an entrepreneur (online marketplace for the textile industry, VC-backed) and before that a technology banker with Lazard (London, Milan, NY). Frederic has worked in France, the UK, Italy and the US. He lives in London with his wife (fashion entrepreneur) and his two daughters.
