Edial Dekker (NL)

Edial Dekker (1984) co-founded the biggest open data movement in The Netherlands, Hack de Overheid, at 22. His studies in New Media at the University of Amsterdam led him to develop a keen interest in data visualizations, the social chemistry of cities and new applications for technology.

After graduating in Network Theory, he moved to Berlin to put theory into practice. Not missing a beat, he started the interactive design studio Your Neighbours. Now Edial is the CEO of Gidsy, a very young startup where people can soon offer and book authentic activities.
