Florian Gschwandtner (AUT)

Florian Gschwandtner is CEO and Co-founder of runtastic, a start-up company which provides mobile health and fitness apps and a fitness portal to track, manage and share sports data. He founded the company with three colleagues in October 2009. The mobile app of the company is available for several operating systems (iPhone, Android, BlackBerry, WP7) in twelve languages.

With more than 750.000 registered users on the runtastic fitness portal and more than 2.400.000 mobile downloads during 22 months, runtastic is one of the leading network for athletes in Europe. The satisfaction of the customers is showing that the company is performing very well.

Florian studied Mobile Computing in Hagenberg and Supply Chain Management in Steyr before he started his career as an entrepreneur. Therefore he has a lot of experience with technical as well as economic issues.

Currently runtastic employes 20 people and is continuously growing. By now Florian also founded a new startup with some friends named all about apps company.
