Christoph Sauermann (AUT)

Christoph Sauermann is the CEO and Co-founder of www.ijoule.com, a start-up company which is a digital nutrition coach. It provides daily “easy to implement” solutions to manage your weight and fitness by changing your lifestyle.

More than 50% of the OECD population being overweight was the starting point to develop this new e-health concept iJoule that recently got a significant government aid.

In parallel he founded www.mediclass.com, a new medical club concept that makes private medicine affordable.

After his studies of economics and pharmacy he held various positions at international pharmaceutical companies. As General Manager Wyeth Austria and Commercial Chair for Austria /CEE/CIS, he was in charge of various international health and e-health projects. He was also president of the Forum of Research Pharmaceutical Companies in Austria and board member of the Austrian Pharmaceutical Industry Association. Participating in the Austrian Pharmaceutical Negotiation Team for all relevant health care reform projects led to a deep knowledge of the health care system.

After 17 years industry experience he founded his first companies all related to health, internet and people.
