Helmar Hipp (GER)

Helmar Hipp has worked in the internet business for over 18 years and managed several publishers and media companies in their transition to the internet and afterwards he built HoltzbrinckDigital, the venture arm of the Holtzbrinck group.

Having spent over 10 years with the Holtzbrinck Group he became Managing Partner of M&A and PE Advisory Firm EICON. In 2006 he joined the board of Vorarlberger Medienhaus Group, building its digital business in the german speaking market since then.

Now, in addition to the largest German classifieds provider Quoka, over 10 portals and investments, e.g. erento.com, caraworld.de or winlocal.de are part of VM Digital (vm-digital.net) by now.

Helmar Hipp is business angel for internet start-ups, supervisory board member for several companies and speaker as well as lecturer at conferences.
