Jessica Powell (USA)
Jessica leads a team of expert Marketing and PR professionals focused on growing Badoo’s diverse user base, expanding into new markets and making Badoo available across multiple languages and platforms. Her team is responsible for the company’s brand and marketing strategy, corporate communications, public affairs, mobile partnerships, business intelligence and digital & social media marketing.
Powell has over a decade of experience in the digital space, working in Europe, the US and Asia as an executive. Most recently, she was Google’s Senior Director of Communications & Public Affairs, leading all aspects of external and internal communications strategy for the company in Asia-Pacific. Previously, she led Google’s Product, Engineering, Policy & Internal Communications in EMEA, and prior to that, served as Director of Communications for the International Confederation of the Societies of Authors and Composers (CISAC). She is also the author of a book, Literary Paris.
