Christof Strasser (GER)

Christof Strasser joined Herbst Vavrovsky Kinsky as partner in 2009. Mr. Strasser specializes in international financing transactions, mergers and acquistions and tax law. Prior to joining the firm, he worked for a number of years at two leading U.S. law firms in New York and London. Mr. Strasser has extensive experience representing private equity firms, venture capital funds, financial institutions, major corporates and start-ups in a multitude of cross-border transactions. He is admitted to the bars of New York and England & Wales.

Mr. Strasser was born in Munich, Germany, and studied law and business administration in Vienna, Austria, and Cambridge, USA. He received a Mag. Iur. in 2002 and a Dr. Iur., with honors, in 2004 from the University of Vienna, and an LL.M. from Harvard University in 2006. He is lecturer of law at the University of Vienna and teaches negotiation at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration.
