Social Entrepreneurship by TheHub

Friday 07th October - 11:00 am - 01:00 pm
JP Morgan recently released a report on Impact Investing (investments intended to create positive social or environmental impact beyond financial return). They estimate an investment opportunity of between $400 billion and $1 trillion. David Bornstein says social innovation is the fastest growing sector in societies around the globe. But are money, fame and opportunity the reasons why some of the smartest graduates decide to start their own social enterprise instead of working for Wall-Street?
In this Focus Event we will analyze the DNA of social entrepreneurship, look at some case studies of social enterprises and the change they created and identify involvement opportunities in this field.
