Michael is a true media veteran: he is a media investor, the founder and CEO of Michael Grabner Media GmbH. Michael is a permanent advisor to Dieter von Holtzbrinck Medien GmbH (Die Zeit, Handelsblatt, Berliner Tagesspiegel …), i5invest and Economia SA. Michael Grabner Media is invested in more than 15+ Startups.

He started his career in 1973 at Henkel Austria where he was quickly named CEO of several subsidiaries. In later stages of his career he successfully pursued a Post Graduate Study Program at Harvard Business School and amongst others held the positions of the CEO of Estée Lauder / Clinique GmbH Austria, CEO of the Austrian publishing group KURIER/Mediaprint and CEO of one of Germany’s biggest publishing groups, Georg von Holtzbrinck. Besides that, he was elected “Austrian Business Angel 2009”.
