Andreas Thümmler (GER)

Andreas Thümmler founded Corporate Finance Partners Group (CFP) in 1998 in Frankfurt/Germany as an M&A and Corporate Finance advisory firm focused on medium-sized transactions in the technology and telecommunications sectors in Europe.

Today, CFP has 9 offices in Europe, USA and Asia comprising 70 professionals which have successfully executed more than 300 European and international M&A and Corporate Finance transactions under the CFP label. As the acting CEO of CFP Group, in 2008, Andreas expanded into the Fund management sector and established CFP & Founders Investments (now venturecapital.de), a non-institutional, evergreen co-investment fund comprising capital from CFP, its principals and 160 individual founders and entrepreneurs. Through its network of entrepreneurs CFP has subsequently strongly increased its deal flow radar. The fund is focused on growth stage opportunities in the technology, telecommunications and Internet sectors.

Today, Corporate Finance Partners Group is positioned as a mid-market advisor with global activities and a strong sector focus. Andreas also privately succeeds in persuading friends and business partners of ideas. He supports “Steps for Children”, an aid project for children in Namibia, for many years as the top fundraiser, on site in Africa as well as financially. Andreas holds a degree in Computer Science and Business Administration from European Business School – Schloss Reichartshausen and has worked as an M&A specialist with Rothschilds in Frankfurt and Warburgs in London before establishing CFP.
