Mixgar helps people listen to the music they like, anywhere they like: in a bar, a restaurant, at a party, or a music festival. PROBLEM: We want to listen to the music we like, NOT to the music the owner of a bar, a host of a house party or a guy from the office likes SOLUTION: Mixgar collects logged users’ music preferences (from Facebook, Last.fm, and manually added artists) and generates a playlist for the place. Customers can see the actual playlist on their phone or in the bar’s TV, and they can vote the songs on the playlist. Favourite music of the present customers can be heard in the venue by Mixgar. Owner of the venue or sponsors will pay for the service. Gerzson was Director, Development at LogMeIn till 2011.
